What should I do to activate VoLTE?

The VoLTE activation will be done automatically when your 4G sim card is inserted into a VoLTE certified phone. This is under the condition that your smartphone is updated to the latest firmware and that you are using a 4G sim card.

  • For iPhones
    • Minimum iOS version needed is 10.1. To check iOS version
      • Settings -> General -> About -> Version

      • Settings -> Mobile Data -> Mobile Data Options - > Enable 4G - > Select Voice and Data

      • Settings -> General -> About -> Carrier
    • Tap on Carrier, it will change to IMS Status: Voice & SMS

 

  • For Android
    • Samsung
      • Settings -> Connections -> Mobile Networks -> Enable VoLTE Calls
    • Huawei
      • Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile network -> Enable 4G and VoLTE calls
    • Vivo
      • Settings -> Mobile network -> Enable VoLTE HD Call
    • Oppo
      • For ColorOS 5.0 and above: Settings -> Dual SIM & Cellular/SIM Card & Mobile Data -> Select one SIM card -> Enable VoLTE Calls
      • For ColorOS 3.2: Settings -> Dual SIM & Cellular -> Select one SIM card -> Enable VoLTE Calls
      • For ColorOS 3.0 & ColorOS 3.1: Settings -> Call -> Enable VoLTE voice call function (HD/ VoLTE icon will appear on the status bar once VoLTE voice call function is enabled)

How do I know I have VoLTE services on my phone?

Customers with compatible iPhones will notice that when they are making phone calls, the "4G" icon will be displayed.

Can I enjoy VoLTE when I am roaming outside Malaysia?

No. You will not be able to enjoy VoLTE when you are traveling outside Malaysia, for the time being.

How do I deactivate VoLTE?

You can disable VoLTE services via your smartphone's device setting. If you still have trouble disabling VoLTE, please do not hesitate to contact Digi customer service.

There will be no additional charges for using VoLTE. You will still have to pay the same voice tariff fees regardless of if you are on VoLTE or not.

Will VoLTE consume my current mobile Internet quota?

No. VoLTE service does not consume your existing mobile Internet quota.
