I have just received my Digi Home Router, how do I set it up?

Just follow these 4 steps: 
Step 1: Insert your Digi Postpaid Broadband SIM Card into the router. 
Step 2: Connect your router to the power supply. 
Step 3: Switch on the router. 
Step 4: Now all your family members may connect to the internet. You can find your Wi-Fi login details at the bottom of the router.

Which Broadband Plans offer the Digi Home Router bundle?

You may choose to bundle your Digi Home Router with Broadband Monthly 65 or Broadband Monthly 105.

How do I manage my router settings?

You may conveniently perform settings for your routers via HiLink apps. You may download it on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

How much is the device upfront payment for the Digi Home Router with Broadband Monthly RM65 and Broadband Monthly RM105?

Can I buy only the Digi Home Router?

Yes, you can purchase TP Link home router upfront at any of Digi Stores.

If I purchase Broadband Monthly 45, can I bundle it with the Digi Home Router?

No, you may only choose to bundle your Digi Home Router with Broadband Monthly 65 or Broadband Monthly 105.

I already have a MobiFi, do I still need a Digi Home Router?

Both MobiFi and Wireless routers are devices that allows you to share your internet with your family and friends. However, MobiFi is meant to support you when you are on-the-go with a battery capacity of up to 12 hours while Digi Home Router is best for home usage with stronger WiFi antennas that are able to reduce dead corners at home.

Can I sign up for a Broadband plan with both MobiFi and Digi Home Router?

No, you may only choose one of the device to be bundled with your Broadband Plan.

Is there a termination fee should I choose to terminate my broadband subscription before 12 months?

Yes, for early terminations (before 12 months) you will be charged RM200 admin fee + (remaining months balance x RM9). You may keep the device upon payment

What is the correct SIM size for my router?

You are required to use a standard size SIM for the router.

How long is the device warranty?

The device comes with 12 months warranty from the manufacturer Huawei.

What should I do in the event of faulty device?

In the event of a faulty device, you may go to any of TP Link service centres across Malaysia to make a warranty claim.

 

Overtime, will there be any updates requiring download?

Yes, however, in the event when there is update that requires download, you will be prompted when you visit the device web portal at http://192.168.1.1.

If I am an existing customer, can I upgrade to Broadband Monthly 65 and bundle it with the Digi Home Router?

Yes, you may choose to upgrade your existing broadband plan to Broadband Monthly 65 bundled with the Digi Home Router.

I am an existing Digi Postpaid Voice Plan subscriber, can I change my Digi Postpaid Voice Plan to Broadband Monthly 65 and bundle it with the Digi Home Router?

No, however as a Digi Postpaid Voice Plan subscriber, you may sign up to Digi Postpaid Broadband Supplementary 65 with a RM10 rebate for life and bundle it with the CPE Home Wireless router.

I am able to connect to my mobile devices with the router. However, it could not connect to my CCTV. What should I do?

In the event where only CCTV encounter problems to connect to the router while the other devices are able to, please contact the manufacturer of your CCTV to assist you further.
